What you are actually buying
01
No licence key, no telemetry, no runtime check · in development or in production. Your editor never talks to us. We could not switch your app off if we wanted to.
grep -r "matrajs.com" node_modules/@matrajs→ no matches
02
The source is public and the packages install from public npm. What you buy is the right to run them in production, plus updates and support. A lock a git clone opens is not a lock, and building one would have cost you an account to administer.
npm i @matrajs/ai→ installs, no key
Questions
The version you installed keeps working, forever. Nothing checks a licence at runtime and nothing contacts us, so a lapsed subscription cannot switch off software you already shipped. What lapses is access to new versions and to support.
Because per seat punishes the teams worth having and produces invoices too small to fund the work. Flat is also one number your finance team can approve without counting anyone, and adding a developer inside your cap costs nothing.
Only people writing code against the paid packages count. Designers, PMs and anyone using the product you built with it do not.
Yes, and two months are free. It helps us more than it costs you, which is the honest reason it is discounted.
There is no trial because there is nothing to trial around: evaluation, development, testing and personal projects are free under the licence, indefinitely. You pay when it goes to production with more than two developers on it.
